The Black Heidis was invited by the Embassy and its Consulates General to China for a music tour across the country from March 7th to 24th, 2024. The talented trio, Yeelen, Sandrine and Gea, are three women playing main vocal / guitar, bass and drum. They call themselves ‘The Black Heidis’ because the main vocalist Yeelen is of African descent, and for everyone: Heidi (Switzerland's most famous literary figure) equals to Switzerland. The name of the band mirrors the "modern Swissness", where Heidi, the typical little girl living in the Alps, can also be black. Meanwhile, they want to show the multicultural side of the country as they were born and raised in Ticino, the Italian-speaking part and now live in the German and French-speaking Switzerland. Their music is a captivating blend of indie rock, groove, and a touch of psychedelia sung in French, Italian and English.
After Hong Kong, Macau and Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen are the 4th and the 5th stop of the China Tour of The Black Heidis, which will be open to the public on March 17th and 18th before going to Shanghai. The Black Heidis, Swiss Indie Rock Band
The Black Heidis are Yeelen (Voice & Guitar), Sandrine (Bass) and Gea (Drums). They call themselves ‘The Black Heidis’ because the main vocalist Yeelen is of African descent, and for everyone: Heidi (Switzerland's most famous literary figure) equals to Switzerland. The name of the band mirrors the "modern Swissness", where Heidi, the typical little girl living in the Alps, can also be black. Divided between Ticino (Italian-speaking) and German and French-speaking Switzerland, the three young women, who shared a great friendship and love for music, create an indie-rock-song-writing universe, with meaningful and poetic lyrics. Their music is a captivating blend of indie rock, groove, and a touch of psychedelia sung in French, Italian and English. The alchemy between the three musicians is reflected in their music and in the passion that they succeed to convey to the audience during their concerts. Capable of thrilling on large stages, but also in the most intimate setting of the various bars and clubs in which they have played, the band always brings for the audience a stunning musical journey.
The Black Heidis were winners of the Palco ai Giovani Contest in 2016 and have since then released two albums, as well as taking part in large-scale performances with renowned singers such as Robin Girod and Fabio Mago Martino, with more than 70 concerts. They have travelled across the different language districts in Switzerland and have performed all over the country. They took part in major national music festivals such as the FESTATE Festival, the Waldstock Festival and the Couleur 3 Festival. The band has also toured and performed in concerts in Italy.

应瑞士驻华使领馆邀请，海蒂的朋友（The Black Heidis）于2024年3月7日至24日在中国各城市巡演。这支才华横溢的乐队由三名女性摇滚音乐人组成，包括主唱兼吉他、贝斯和鼓手。因主唱Yeelen拥有非裔背景，乐队自称“黑色海蒂”（直译），又译“海蒂的朋友”。海蒂（瑞士同名文学名著主人公）的形象风靡全球，是瑞士最好的代言，乐队的名字也反映出某种现代意义上的瑞士：海蒂这个典型的阿尔卑斯女孩也可以是非洲后裔。同时，乐队希冀展现一个文化多元的瑞士，三名乐手均在提契诺州（瑞士意大利语区）出生与长大、现居德语区和法语区，她们能同时用法语、意大利语和英语演唱，诗意盎然的歌词和娓娓道来的旋律，融合独立、摇滚、迷幻、电声等曲风，令她们的音乐有着特别的魔力。

海蒂的朋友曾在2016年Palco ai Giovani大赛中获得音乐大奖，并在此后发行两张专辑，与著名歌手Robin Girod和Fabio Mago Martino等同台演出达70多场。她们穿越瑞士不同语区，在全国各地演出，参加过FESTATE音乐节、Waldstock音乐节和Couleur 3音乐节等全国性重大音乐活动。除了国内演出，乐队还曾在意大利举办过巡回演出。
